Gray Room Inspirations

Gray, purple, and gold

At the risk of channeling Lakers... I'd like to accent the gray bedroom with yellows and purples... wouldn't a cute yellow end table like this one look cute in my reading corner?
Would need some functional lighting...like a reading lamp on the yellow table, but one that wouldn't clash with the decals I plan on having on the wall.

To add to the "reading corner" a couple chairs... I'd like to try reupholstering the chair in the garage (which I think may be similar to a parsons chair...except there is a box under the seat instead of legs).  And maybe I could incorporate the "texture" that I've been reading about as giving the room depth/dimension/pop.

Taupe, brown, and white

All the kitchens I've seen online with taupe walls are done with expresso and white...

Can't get enough stickers!...

I've seen these chandelier decals used in a couple HGTV pictures and I LOVE them!  Buuuut I can't really figure out where I'd use them...  There's already a hanging light in the dining room...and all of the rooms have ceiling fans... I feel like they would go best in a room without a hanging light fixture...

Wonder where I can add this decal...
Seriously loving the chandelier wall decals!

Kitchen Inspirations

Working with white ceramic kitchen counter tops, I've been looking for inspiration pages...  Right now there are dark brown cabinets and tan, brown, and black stones on the floor.  I ended up looking at some black&white combinations with the white being the counters and the black being the cabinets, but am a little worried that it might be too stark with just black and white.

Here are some pictures that I have found:

Wonder what it would look like with white appliances

Not so sure about the stripes, and we don't have
stainless steel, but liked the black on bottom white on top
cabinets and the top cabinets have cool knobs

I like the chalkboard pain

This caught my eye because of the display shelf on top
